Dylan & Colin

There seems to always be one in the family who loves getting their photos taken and one who does not. Dylan loved it, Colin was not interested. I think part of it is that Dylan is a bit a of a shutterbug himself. Dylan and I explored looking for spots to take a good picture. It took a game of Simon Says to get Colin’s attention. When I would manage to trip Colin up, I would snap a quick picture of his reaction.

Ayden

I have been photographing Ayden since he was a newborn. Lucky for me he was born just as I was ready to practice taking photos of a newborn. He has become much easier to take photos of. Of course it could have something to do with all of his siblings jumping around behind me trying to make him smile.

Marisa

Marisa loved having her picture taken. She had lots of ideas of how she wanted to pose. I always enjoy it when the kids know how they want the pictures to look because it is such fun to see them explore their creativity. Marisa looked like such a lovely young lady in her dress. And she has this crazy beautiful hair. Actually all of Kristen’s kids have crazy beautiful hair. Back to Marisa…she loved posing be herself or with her siblings. I can’t wait to hear how she likes the final product. Note to self, must get the prints to Marisa.

Ashley

Ashley has been one of my best models. She has sat or stood through hundreds of photos for me. One of the things I notice about about Ashley is her incredibly large and expressive eyes. Secondly I notice that she likes to make an upside down smile, which I have since seen on every one of her siblings.

Christian & Emma

Christian likes having his picture, Emma not so much. I think I was on picture number 3 when she was ready to be done. Unfortunately for Emma it takes me a little longer than that to get the picture that I want. Also, unfortunately for Emma, she chose her shoes for their beauty and not for their comfort. Christian, with his long eyelashes, preened and posed. He climbed, he lay on the ground and he went where I asked him to with a smile on his face. Both of them were lovely and I am very pleased with the results.
